When I was putting together this display, I was really feelin’ on Steven Klein’s recent spread in VOGUE with Raquel Zimmerman. Set in a manor home, Klein makes great use of both sumptuous indoor salons and gorgeous garden spaces.  We’ve been getting so much AMAZING vintage in recently at Red Light that I wanted to be sure to showcase some of our truly old pieces. There’s a perfectly paper-thin peach shift dress from the ’20s, some truly debonair evening wear (yes, gentlemen, the jacket has tails!), and – always my favorite – a healthy dose of drool-worthy jewelry.  Most importantly, I wanted to feature a BEAUTIFUL dress from the ’30s with butterfly embroidery!  I think it may be my favorite piece that I’ve seen come through the store.
